CHUCK & JUDY NICHOLS
We are Chuck & Judy Nichols, the owners and operators of Nichols Expeditions. Since 1978 we have taken thousands of people on active tours by bike, kayak, raft and on foot in the US and internationally.

Since childhood, both of us have been passionate about travel and recreating in the outdoors. We met in 1977 working as river guides in the canyons of Utah. Back then, a summer of paddling whitewater and camping on sand beaches seemed about as good as it could get. Little did we know that one day we would be leading tours around the world!

After starting Nichols Expeditions we began searching for the best tour locations and we developed a network of trusted partners in foreign countries. We now have the ability to offer a worldwide selection of guided, self-guided and custom tours for individuals and groups. And, as company owners, we actually accompany many of our guided tours throughout the year. We feel that there is no better compliment than to have folks return with their friends for another Nichols Expeditions tour.

2012 is our 35^th year of leading tours and we hope to see you on one of our adventures!

SUZIE STENGEL

Suzie is an 11 year veteran with Nichols Expeditions and is currently working part-time. A 24-year resident of Moab and former Park Service employee at Arches National Park, Suzie brings a wealth of experience and a genuine love for travel to our office. Besides climbing all of the 14,000 ft. peaks in Colorado, Suzie has traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, South America, Asia, and she crossed Russia on a solo journey. Her advice to all is, “Keep active, and if you are curious or have ever dreamed of going somewhere, you should do it!”
