ITALY, BIKE & HIKE THE AMALFI COAST - Join Chuck and Judy Nichols on a 9-day exploratory tour of Italy’s scenic Amalfi Coast and Cilento National Park. The Amalfi area has been high on our personal “bucket list” and we have teamed up with a local guide who lives on the Amalfi Coast for this van supported biking and hiking trip. The tour begins in Giungano and for the first four days we will be exploring the scenic coastal road and back roads of the Cilento National Park on our bikes. The Cilento is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Italy’s second largest and most biologically diverse park. It is like being back in another time as we ride through a fascinating mix of history and small towns, olive groves and vineyards set in a rugged landscape known as the Cilento. We have selected the best places for our bike rides and the most scenic spots for hiking to highlight the diversity and grandeur of this special part of Italy.
