Italy Guided Biking / Sicily

2027 Tour Dates: October 4 – 10

Discover the extraordinary beauty of UNESCO Baroque southeastern Sicily on a cycling journey through charming towns, peaceful countryside, ancient landscapes and the Mediterranean coast.

Starting in the hills of Palazzolo Acreide, the tour takes you along quiet country roads through the heart of the Val di Noto, connecting some of Sicily’s most fascinating UNESCO-listed towns: Ragusa Ibla, Scicli and Noto, before reaching the island of Ortigia, the historic heart of Syracuse.Along the way, cycling becomes the perfect way to experience the authentic character of this corner of Sicily: olive and carob groves, traditional farms, dry-stone walls, local food and wine, and the warm atmosphere of small Sicilian towns.

The journey ends in beautiful Ortigia, where the Mediterranean, Greek history and Sicilian Baroque come together. For those who would like more time to enjoy Syracuse at a relaxed pace, the trip can be extended with an additional night in Ortigia, allowing a full extra day to explore its historic streets, archaeological treasures, markets, restaurants and waterfront.
