Each day as we transfer to a new island you can keep an eye out for pods of dolphin or manta rays leaping from the water. With luck you might even spot pilot whales in search of their own seafood dinner. Once at camp you can extend your discoveries with a mask and snorkel to view exotic fish and multi-hued coral beds in comfortable 80 degree water. The visit to the sea lion rookery on Los Islotes offers the thrill of a lifetime – snorkeling alongside these curious playful creatures as they perform a graceful underwater ballet! Late afternoons are reserved for short hikes, swimming, fishing or simply relaxing on the beach at happy hour with a margarita beneath one of Baja’s magical sunsets. It just doesn’t get any better!

The 80º water in the fall means you can comfortably spend hours relaxing and swimming. The Sea of Cortez is truly one of the finest marine sanctuaries in the world. Snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit) can be rented for the trip, and this is the perfect place to learn.

Sea kayaking is emerging as one of the fastest growing water sports. No previous kayaking experience is necessary for this trip. It’s easy to learn and you don’t need a massive amount of strength or coordination to have fun in a sea kayak. These comfortable, modern boats are extremely stable and move through the water with ease. They are also equipped with a rudder to help make steering easy. We will be paddling between 2-5 hours per day. We will be using double kayaks and we provide instruction throughout the week. Support skiffs, locally known as pangas, will accompany the trip to carry all of the gear and anyone who gets tired.

Fun, sun, swimming, paddling, beaches and sea life all rolled into one great adventure you’ll never forget. Join us in Baja for the time of your life! Si, como no!
